A brief history:
I am happy to call Portland, Oregon home after moving here from Texas in 2006 to attend Pacific Northwest College of Art. I graduated from the program in 2009 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography.
My exploration of photography began in high school, and gained momentum quickly. Throughout those formative years and my time at Pacific Northwest College of Art, I discovered a love and talent for photographing people.
Portrait photography remains my primary focus, within weddings and also family / couple portraits. I feel blessed to help people document important moments in their lives.
Beyond my training in photographic technique, my heritage and other work experiences have helped to shape my photography. As a native Texan, I am naturally warm and welcoming, and my years working in the service industry allowed me thousands of hours to keenly observe human emotions and interactions. I see my portraiture as a service, as well. Making powerful and honest photographs for my clients is one that I happily provide.
I also have an undying love for books, music, movies and cats.
